Hi guys

have an interesting issue here

the Store.exe service is using approx 64mb of RAM, but over 500MB of pagefile

any ideas ??

Thanks

Markee

specs:

dual Xeon 3.2
4GB RAM ( /3GB switch is on )
SBS 2003 latest SP
latest SP for exchange too

Run the SBS Best Practices Analyzer and it will tell you that SBS does not support the /3GB switch. It will also find other things for you to change to optimize your SBS server.

And check this article out for Exchange Memory optimization.

Using the /3GB switch actually cuts the amount of specialized core memory (already limited) in half, and makes it much more likely that you will have regular OWA timeouts and IIS hangs, particularly if you also have any Symantec products loaded. Never run the /3GB switch on an Exchange server.

Another reason why moving to 64-bit hardware is really a great thing.
