Hi Everyone,

I'm a bit of a newbie to NBU 5.0 & I'm wanting to run 2 backups at the same time.

I have 2 quantum M1500 libraries that are stacked and each has 2 drives. One is connected via SCSI & the other via fiber channel to a NetApp filer.

I'm dealing with the SCSI device only this time around...
I have 2 different Windows policies that I'd like to run at the same time. The problem is that one policy is taking both drives and the other is sitting idle. They both start at 6:00 PM Mon - Thu. Right now I have one storage unit configured to use 2 drives. Should I configure another storage unit and use 1 drive each & set the policies to use different storage units?

Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions.

Thanks!!!

Go into the global configuration and set the number of backups that can run simulatously.
