Storage Server

I have just purchased a Dell PowerEdge 2950 running Storage Server 2003 R2. I have got 6 * 500GB HD’s and was hoping to have it set up as RAID 5, so 2.5TB online with say 100MB for the ‘C’ partition and the rest for backups. The server only seems to be accepting the first three drives in RAID 5 (Giving me 1TB online). The Virtual disk has all the drives listed, just doesn’t want to allow me to access their storage. Is there a limit preventing me and if so, what would be a good configuration to use.
