Storage Manager Agent error

Hi all

I have just installed a Windows 2008 SP2 sever and it all appeared to go very well the only error I see is the one below.

Event ID: 202
HP Storage Manager Agent
Commands are not responding: controller 1

This is on a HP DL140 G3
Storage Manager version 5.01.00 (16864) (I installed the version that we run on Server 2003 could this be the problem.)

The server appears to be working fine can anyone help with this?

After just a quick look, it appears that the same agent is used for both Windows 2003 and 2008. It also looks like 5.01 is the latest version of the agent. But not knowing you hardware or specific OS verion, I can only guess.

Is the bios and all the other firmware up-to-date? Controllers, drives, etc.

Well I did say it's Windows 2008 SP2 on a DL140 G3, is that not what you meant by 'hardware or specific OS verion'?

I'll check what version the BIOS and firmware is on.

No, I meant 64-bit vs 32-bit vs small business...

Ok it's 32 bit, I'll update the system ROM today.
