Storage Management Portmapper from Legato

It sounds like you are running an older (5.x?) version of NetWorker. Long about 6.x, they got rid of Storage Management Portmapper and built that functionality into nsrexec. There are/were some known portmapper conflict issues. You might start with one of the admin manuals, look under portmapper conflicts, and/or this tech bulletin
