Stopping users from downloading

Hello,

I am currently dinking around with the idea of removing rights from the temp and temporary internet folders under a users profile to prevent them from downloading things they aren't supposed to be downloading. This part at least is working great, however certain people access secured websites that require applets to be run and certificates downloaded. Basically, my question is wether or not it's possible to "enable" downloading from only these or other specified sites and not the rest of the internet. If anybody has any nifty tips about doing this or imposing other security measures in Win 2k they would be greatly appreciated.

You can set up Security levels in IE and specify which sites users are allowed to use. Tools - Internet Options - Security.
