Stopping the UP button

When students use the OPEN dialog box in Word, Excel, Access, etc they can use the UP button to move from their Documents area to see the complete structure of the share as well as browse out of the share and see the entire network. Though most shares are hidden and the rights of the documents folders are restricted to the users and admin only we do not want students to be able to move about with this type of freedom.

How can we restrict or remove the UP button?

WinXP SP2 workstations with Win2000 Servers, latest ADMs.
