Dear all:

we have a set of m2250 attendant consoles >
the problem is when one of the consoles join two calls together
he can intrude the call and still listening to the call silently .
how can i stop the attendant to listen to the call (which joined by him)
or how can make the the parties in the call to listen to a beep or tone if
the attendant who joined them sill on the line listening.

Thanks alot

I love the "firing them?" response. A little low-tech, but i think it would definately work!!!!!!!!!!! STAR!

LOL... now I have to post a real answer :) Depending on version, set OPT=EHS (just add it in any OPT data prompt in LD15.

At the OPT Prompt
--SYD Secrecy Denied (Default)
--SYA Secrecy Allowed (Does not stop listening in)
--EHS Enhanced Secrecy Allowed (inserts Beeps)

No way to stop the capability exists to my knowledge.

I don't know if it applies to all versions.

thanks a lot it works , and a beep tone given at the start of entering the call
but the first solution is more effective.
