Stopping Spooler 2

I need to stop and restart the lp splloer process and can not remember how I did it in the past, any help

/usr/lib/lpshut (stops the spooler)
/usr/lib/lpsched (starts the spooler)

This is assuming you are running OpenServer. If Unixware, the commands may be different.
 
And if you use remote printing:
1) Stop
kill -15 `ps -e | awk '$NF=="lpd"{print $1}'`
rm -f /usr/spool/lpd/lock /usr/spool/lpd/*/lock
2) Start
/usr/lib/lpd &
