Stopping spamming using sendmail 5.65

Hello all...
I need help in what changes I need to make to sendmail.cf in order to stop spamming. I am running sendmail 5.65v3.2 on a Digital-UNIX box running OSF1 v.3.2 and do not have the option to upgrade sendmail. I found tons of info on how to do this using sendmail 8.9, but have had no luck for what I should do using sendmail 5.65.
