Stopping "display pdf results"...?

Essentially, I want to disable the option that automatically opens the PDF you've just created. I find it incredibily irritating as it constantly takes the focus from what i'm actually doing. If you close them as soon as they open, they just wait a second or so and open again!! Argh!!!

I found the tick box in the printer properties that says "display pdf results". Unticking this does work, but I can't get it to stay. Every new print goes back to the old option!

Please save me from tearing my hair out and loosing all my cash to the swear jar!

Oddly, you need to change this in two places. One in the printer driver, and one in the PDF Writer application itself.
In Acro5 it's in Tools|Distiller|File|Preferences.
Not sure about later versions. I think in Acro7 it might ask to "set as default", which you want to do.
