I have EPO 3.5
and just upgraded to VSE 8.0
Some machines still have 7.1, but thats not an issue right now

So in my n00b like efforts of trying to deploy my 8.0 update, I sent an 8.0 on access scan to my entire domain.

Not a big deal I guess. Except none of my computers are logged on long enough to finish it, so it basically runs forever.

I'm the only who notices the slow down, but I notice it.

Is there a way I can send a domain wide "STOP" command through EPO?

yeah, if you can stop/kill every machines VirusScan service. That'll stop it from running.

kill the frameworkservice along with the mcshield service,

there is no way I can do it server side? I have several remote sites, so it would be tough to get to each machine.

Plus I need it just to stop the scan, but still remain open, so that I can run scans later when it is not an accident
