Stopping Norton deleting Hacktool?

Ok well i have installed some software i need to get used to for work BUT norton keeps deleting it every time i restore it from quarantine norton decides to delete it again if someone could come up with a solution to this it would be most grateful thank you.

yeah.. add the directory it's stored in to the exclusions list in the config..

if it doesnt scan the directory it shouldnt be able to kill it...

you may have to exclude it from the real time protection and the scheduled scans if you have any set up.
