Okay, the question is this.
When an applet is inserted into an HTML page and that page is viewed there is a 'splash screen' placed over the area that the applet has been given control of - this usually displays something like a grey rectangle with the helpful but unsexy words "loading applet..."
I was wondering whether there is any way to override this behaviour? I was also wondering what is responsible for the production of this message.
Any help on this one would be gratefully received...
