Hi,

I really dont think this is possible... but i thought i would ask all the same.

When using some products such as outlook or outlook express, you can click on a hyperlink and it loads the url in an already open ie window (providing u use ie of course). From memory, its always the most recently opened instance that gets replaced.

Is there anyway that i can stop this happening? I have a window thats open all day and i dont want these links to load in this window.

thanks

todd.

In IE it is Tools ->internet options. On the advanced tab uncheck "reuse windows for launching shortcuts".

Cheers.

Fantastic, thanks a lot.

I did have a look but i must have missed it.

Cheers,

Todd.

I'm glad it helped. :)

BTW, everytime you install IE patches and updates, and (I think) office patches and updates, you're going to find that you have to uncheck the box again.

Cheers.
