Hi, I need to set up some pdf downloads for a client. Is there a way of stopping the download from opening in the browser? Can they be forced to save the download as a file instead?
Many thanks in advance

ASCII silly question, get a silly ANSI

I dare say you could use ActiveX to come up with an interesting solution, but why not add the option to download the .PDF in a .ZIP file?

I'm willing to trade custom scripts for... [see profile]

Or if you have server-side access, you could try changing the mime-type for PDF files to something generic... Then again, that would only work if the PDF plugin detected the mime-type instead of file extension.

Hope this helps,

Dan
