I am running Norton antivirus version 4. When I boot the computer, it tries to read my removable media ORB hard disc, which is not inserted. This causes the computer to stop and let me know that norton can not scan this drive. I have to abort ( one of the options), and then it will scan my boot drive and continue to load windows. Can anyone tell me how to get NAV not to scan the ORB drive on a boot?
Thanks,

this might not be really helpful [sorry]- i havent used NA for some time now.

i think there's an options menu where you can specify what drives to be checked at boot time.

Thanks for your input, you are correct that there is an options tab, and within that tab is the startup tab. It only lets you select the types of files to be scanned, no mention of being able to select the drive.
Thanks again,
