stopped clock 1

panasonic kx-td 1232 v3 the lcd display clock has stopped on all phones, reset the same, can i change the clock generater, ic/ocilator,other engineers say it`s common ,i`ve only seen it on kxt 308 before

if my memory is correct,it is the crystal on the small board on the main cpu(on the uk unit) I have only seen one like this but have heard of a few

I thank you for that OBT it`s the small crystall above the clock chip ic 26 i think, swopped it out 44p at rs, worked a treat,thanks again. Enjoy the festive break to all.

was it a socketed or did have to solder ?

yes you will need to solder,i was warned to be carefull with he heat when soldering as you can damage it.rs part 226 1443 32.768 khz

Now thats dedication I would have either kept the ksu for a system application that did not have display phones and no auto day night mode or it would have went on the scrap heap!
