Stoping the process when stopping debugging?

Hi all.

When I am debugging an application that has quite a long running process (i.e. a large data extract process), and I stop debugging the application before the process is finished, the process keeps on running, despite me having ended the debugging session. The only way I can stop this process from running is to manually stop aspnet_wp.exe. Is there a way that I can stop the process from carrying on without having to restart the aspnet_wp.exe process?
