I'm printing in vfp6 some reports(invoice) on continuous computer paper, but I would like printing on a personal page(8.5" x 5.5"), so the reports its OK, but I would like stop the page(no eject)when printing finish it.

I've been using the report designer to do the task without any luck.

I'm print on an Epson LX-300+, could somebody helpme to stop the printer.

Any help will be apreciate.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have not mentioned the operating system under which the printing takes place. The problem could be on the printer setup of the OS. If using Win98 or such OS, select the printer from Control Panel and set the properties of eject or no eject after printing ... using OS. This could solve your problem.

Sorry Ramani
I can't find "NO EJECT" on my printer properties.

In your Printer setup, the page length might have been set as A4 or 8.5"x11" where as you are using half the standard size. So the default page length shall be set as A5 or suitably. I hope this will fix your problem. ramani :-9

I have since checked for Epson LX300. This printer does not support 5.5" page length which is half the standard size. You are getting a page feed in 5.5" size form, since the default page lenth selected might be 11" or A4. If you can control in the report form without page header/footer and have only detailed lines spreading a length of 5.5", you can control this form size. Otherwise, I suggest you have to choose a different printer or use different standard paper length. This is my view, however you can wait and see if some other professional member can offer some choice. ramani :-9

I have encountered this many times. The solution is to create a 'Custom Paper Size' from the printer properties/Paper size. It will work every time regardless of which printer you use.
I run 4x6 cards, 5 1/2 x 6 statements, labels etc.
Install a printer for each form size you use. Modify the report form and select the printer, then resave the form. Unfortunately, if on a network you must set up the custom printers on each workstation. Other more complicated solutions exist, but I don't bother with them.
