Stop the flickering of images and another.....

Hi I have one image that is the size of 8 other images put together. THe image is slowy resized every 200 ms over the other images. but this produceds INTENSE flickering does any 1 know how to stop it. I know it involeds .refresh

Does any1 now basic encryption styles... I believe u use x or but i need to combine a user name and password and encrypt them and then bring them back. Brad,
