Stop/Start/Monitor Pervasive SQL

I will using Pervasive SQL on windows 2000 or possibly 2003. I would like to write a script to start/stop/monitor the Pervasive SQL services. What are the proper stop, start, monitor commands that I need to add to my scripts?

As far as starting and stopping, it should be something like:
net start|stop "Pervasive.SQL (relational)"
net start|stop "Pervasive.SQL (transactional)"

What do you mean by "monitor"?
