Is there a way in Crystal Server XI R2 to stop a scheduled report from running if there is no data in the report?

Click on File->Report Options and check "Suppress Printing If No Records"

Hmmm... I use BOEXIR2 Server for my scheduling and it does not produce a file if no data is found.

I am putting the report out in PDF, do you think that would make a difference?

I did something like this a while back. I found the solution here on TT and now I can't find it. In my case, I wanted a CE Report to Fail, and not send an email adobe attachment if there were no record in the report. (Don't email a blank document) For you: Basically put a totally blank 1st page (RHa)and do a 'new page after' in that section. Have the 'real' report start on page 2. In every future Report Header section (RHb+), Group Header, Footer, detail, put a conditional supression when your record count is Greater Than 1. In CE,- Destination - Adobe Acrobat- don't print all pages, but print in a range of 2 to ...(something larger than your biggest report). If CE can't find page 2, it will fail and nothing will print out(display as an instance)....It worked for me, hope my theory works for you.
