Hi,

This normally happens if the profile gets broken, which can happen if:
a) data gets corrupted when being downloaded from the server
b) when it is being uploaded at the end of the session there are network quotas in place which mean there isn't enough to copy it all onto the server.

I didn't find any particular 100% solution other than ensure the users keep a good profile copy in their home directory which you as admin can copy over the bad one if it gets broken (obviously rename the existing one).
Occasionally reinstalling machines that consistently cache profiles has fixed it, and also logging on as local admin and taking out all the cached profiles, ACL files, temp files and generally giving the PC a spring clean has worked wonders.

I hope that this is useful.
