I use Outlook 2000 - but only for the scheduling, calendar etc and use an alternative e-mail system for all communications.

Is there a way of stopping Outlook from asking to be the default mail client every time I start it?

There is no "do not ask me again" check box - just an error saying that "Outlook will fix the problem...".

Any ideas?

Interesting Question, I'm not sure, have you specified the default client in the "Internet Options". Try setting it as the program you do use.

On the Tools menu, click Internet Options or find it in the Control Panel.

Go to the Programs tab, make sure the E-mail box setting is Outlook Express or whatever program you use.

Click Apply.

Done. Least it works on my Outlook 98.
Woof!
