I'm working with a friend long-distance that's not too computer literate. He has outlook 2000 and outlook express 6.0.
I'm trying to help him set up identities in OE6 with separate address books for business and personal use. OE 6 won't set up separate address books. I've found a few references to the fact that this is caused by the fact that OE can share Outlook's contact list. He's never used outlook, but when we checked - sure enough his contacts were in outlook.
We want to stop them from sharing. I don't want to try to talk him through editing the registry. Here's what I'm thinking:
This supposedly only works in Outlooks "Internet Mail Only" mode. What if we switch Outlook to Corporate/Workgroup mode and then switch it back to "Internet Mail Only"
Any ideas? Thanks for the help.
