I am entering 2 decimal place numbers (5.50) in a numeric field with the format set to fixed (3456.78) yet the values that appear in the table are immediately rounded up (5.50 becomes 6.00). What am I doing wrong? The guys that are getting paid by these changes (an hours tracking function submitted to payroll) will really like it, but management might take a dim view. Any help?

Thanks

Use a Number field to store numeric data to be used for mathematical calculations, except calculations that involve money or that require a high degree of accuracy. Change the data type from number to currency. This will solve the problem.

Vandys
