Hi.

Having a problem getting hold of Mitel on how to get around this problem so would appreciate any help that's out there.

We're running a Mitel 3300 MCD with 5330 IP handsets.

One of our handsets is setup to recieve all incoming calls on our main analogue phone number. After 3 rings the call goes to the a Hunt Group which calls the other 20 phones in the building. I need to setup this handset/profile so that internal calls do not go to the hunt group. Had a few funny incidents, but it's quickly becoming an issue.

Anyone got any ideas of how to change this?

Assuming you are using routing after 3 seconds I'm pretty sure you can prevent internal from routing

More details on setup will help

Do you know the answer point for the analogue trunk?

This DN will most likely have a first alternative set to go to the hunt group on all types of call, you can modify this first alternative to only route on external calls, set the internal column for busy and no answer to 'normal'

Note though that if other DNs are using this first alternative number they will all be affected, may be worth while using another first alternative number but NOT number 1, leave this blank

Hope this makes sense
