Stop Group Policy

HI..

I have applied Group policy on my network.

Is there any way to Disable group policy on any specific computer ,Suppose i am sitting on client 5 on my office,
and i want to deny g/p for some specific time,

Plz Guide.

Well, this can be done a couple of way's, but this is hacking it up as you're not supposed to be able to just turn on and off group policy on the fly.

You need to either A ... put the machine and the user account you will log onto that machine at in the same OU and deny policy inheritence or just create the OU at a level that no policy exists to be populated.

You might be able to manually change the policy on your machine while logged in. However, I think you might be able to only override these changes via the registry and not via the policy as you would be editing the 'local machine policy' if done from the local machine and as you stated before, this would be something applied via the domain controller.
