I currently have an issue on a BCM 50 where it is passing through the CLID to the forwarded number instead of the handsets CLID
ie 0408xxxxxx calls extn 5043 which forwards to answering service. Answering service recieve CLID of 0408xxxxxx instead of xxxx5043
This is a problem as phone is forwarding to an answering server who answer calls based on the incoming CLID. How do I stop the parsing and force the handsets CLID?
If you look at the trace below, I call 03XXXXX5043 which from 04XXXXXX63 which forwards to my mobile (04XXXXXX63) You see in the trace when it forwards the 'calling party number' is 04XXXXXX63 instead of 03XXXX5043. Pls Help

I think many wish they had your problem including me.

Have you tried entering your biz number under OLI in each set?

If it does not work you will need to call the carrier but note it would be a system wide thing so if some users have their sets forwarded to their mobiles then they will no longer get to see whom is calling them, it will instead show the office number.

The BCM automatically tries to forward the CLID and the Carrier usually denies what you have going.
I dont know if the OLI actually overrides in this scenario or not.

The other option is to have the answering service supply a private DID that you can forward too instead.
