We are having a problem where our users are using a GIS web app that shows maps and land info. It is great, but what happens is that we are forced, by managment, to enforce password protected screensaver after 5min. That is enforced via GPO. But when the user goes to log back in the web app refreshes (meta refresh??), causing them to go to the begining page of the web app and losing all thier work. We changed the meta refresh option in IE, but that did not fix the problem. The users do not wnat to have to start over in the app everytime that their PC goes to screensaver. Is there a way to stop refresh at login?

Thanks in advance!!

If this affects a number of people, perhaps getting management to relax the screensave option for said group would be easier solution?
