Stop FLV player running when page loads

I have a website done in Flash and one of the pages has a Flash FLV player which I put in using Flash. I want the player to be paused when the page loads so that the user is given the option of clicking the play button on the player (if you see what I mean!).

Are you using a FLVPlayback component, or your own netStream custom player?

In answer to your question I am not using a custom netStream player. The player is a Flash component. I have emailed the .fla file to your hotmail address. Otherwise check out the site at:

Haven't looked at your .fla yet, but have you set the autoPlay property to false in the component's parameters?

No I have not set to autoplay property in the player's parameters. To be honest I don't know how!

Don't know how to set the autoplay properties. Perhaps that's where I'm going wrong!

Click on the component on stage and select the Parameters tab in the properties. Set the autoPlay to false by clicking in the autoPlay drop menu to the right.
