Can anyone help with this?

Using PSP7 win xp pro, to capture images, Shift + C, then right click left click etc to get the image.
During this process when I am sizing the copy window,PSP kindly shows me the dimensions of the copied area as a value 250 x 120 etc, very nice, but sometimes the dimension value is also copied along with the resultant image.

Not good, I either have to live with 250 x 120 in black text in the middle of the image, or if it is important I have to rub/paint it out.

Does anyone know why this happens. Screen Capture settings are:
Capture area
Activate usingRight mouse click
Nothing else set.
Regards Rob.

Rob it's ages since I used version 7 but I don't remember that happening to me then and it doesn't happen in PSP X. Sorry to give you an answer that doesn't tell you anything but rather than leave your question with no replies...

One way to get the screen shot you want would be to hit the print screen button (top right on my keyboard) then go to PSP | Edit | Pasted as New Image and then crop to the bit you want. If you use the Alt key with the Print Screen button you'll get just the active box and not every thing on the page.

Thanks AyJayEl,
Not the answer I was hoping for, I use the same version as my partner, and it does not misbehave on me. (scared of me)Her pc does the odd thing occsionally. I may try a reinstall. I resent buying the latest V. of software if it still works for basically what you've always used it for- quick specific screen captures.
Regards RBP.

The reinstall just might do it. I had some problems with PSP X and they recommended that I set up a new user on my pc and see if it behaved (which it did). So I had to assume that it was something I had installed for my main user that was interfering with it. You could try what I did if reinstalling doesn't work.
