Anyone know of a way to disable alpha blending in XP or Windows 7? I have some screen graphics that are invisible when I connect using remote software. All the "problem" graphics are using "transparent" backgrounds. I'd be fine with regular solid backgrounds if there is a way to change this. Any suggestions appreciated!

What remote software are you using?

Oh, sorry...pcAnywhere 12.5 SP2. I have to use this because I can use it on dial-up and TCP/IP.

I know with UltraVNC you can turn on "Capture Alpha blending" and/or enable it. Haven't used pcanywhere so not sure if they have something similar in the Admin properties.

There is a way to do it through the registry too but I dont know the path
