Ok guys this is my deal.First scene is loaded and starts to play.In this scene i have sound(mp3)playing.I have entered a stop all sounds action on the release of the button in scene 1.Also on release that button goes to scene 2 and starts playing.Unfortunatly because because of the stop all sounds action in scene 1,the mp3 in scene 2 will not start playing. How do i get the mp3 in scene 2 to start playing?
(many thanks ahead of time)

Only put a stop on your sound in scene 1?

I must stress this point - unless you want total silence in the movie thereafter, DON'T use the STOP ALL SOUNDS command. The easiest way to do what you want to do is to put a command on the LAST keyframe of scene one - choose the sound you want to stop from the SOUND tab, and in the EVENT box, choose STOP.

Then on the button you use to go to the next scene, instead of using the action GO TO scene 2 AND PLAY, use GO TO last frame of scene 1 (whatever that is) AND PLAY. That way the movie will hit the frame telling the sound to stop and automatically run on into scene 2, hopefully solving your predicament!
