Hey all.

I have a 3x8 with Startalk Flash (5.1 I believe).

I am having a problem with the AA. I've set up a CCR in which I give options to the caller to reach one of three working extensions, Person A, Person B or send a Fax. I've set up the connections and as long as you actually pick the correct options it works.

However, at the end of the announcement if no option is chosen, the AA records a message to the General Delivery mailbox. We don't have an extension set up to monitor that, so what happens is we end up missing calls that go into that box.

How can I set up the tree...or the system...so that after the list of options are presented the AA won't record a message. Perhaps something like "Welcome to Widgets, Inc. Press 1 for Person A, 2 or Person B, or 3 to send a fax". Then a short delay, then just hang up the line. Can I make that happen?

Thanks in advance for any help! :)

From the main voice mail menu screen [MBOX AA OTHR] Press 6 Gen Delivery Y/N?

-Disable the general delivery
-set return to AA to NO.
-Set the attendant status to not available (unless 0 currently works the way you want it.)

If you are unfamilair with the programming, it may be a good idea to call your vendor to do these things, but yes it can be done.
