Stop a Number From Rounding Off

I have 16 Fields on a form that should be number format.
Right now I have them set to text. If i set them to number and change the format to general number and decimals to auto. It will round off the number entered.

Eg...this is what should be entered.. 1.000 when thats entered it takes away the decimal and the three zeros..

I have tryed setting decimal places in the table and that still wont work...

Anyone have any ideas?

Try changing the field size int the table to Single or Double. A numeric field size of Integer or Long Integer does not allow decimals.

If you always want three decimal paces to display, select fixed format, 3 decimal places in the table designer. Terry Broadbent
