I am running a Dell PowerEdge 2300 dual PIII 550 with 384MB SDRAM Win2K(SP3) as a modem pool server. The system uses a Cyclades Cyclom-Y multiport board and SpartaCom MPNT software. Periodically I am seeing a STOP 0x000000B8 (0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) error with a "A wait operation attach process or yield was attempted by a DPC routine" description. This appears to happen when the modem pool is very busy or someone is performing a large file transfer (via Kermit to a UNIX system through a terminal emulator session). As the vendor sites have been of minimal help any insite would be greatly appreciated.
