Stock Advice emails clogging up my Inbox!

Hi all.

I'm not sure if this is the correct Forum to post htis, but here goes.

A number of end-users keep receiving emails concerning stock advice. The advice is part of an embedded gif file so I can't get the firms FireWall to scan the emai. The email address, addresse name, subject header, and attachment name are always different (on everyone) so I can't just block it.

Has anyone else seen this email? How have you blocked it?

I would look at the headers and see if the email is coming from the same IP address and block it at the gateway.

I have the same thing going on. They are from different IP addresses. I suspect that it's from various people infected with something that uses the pc as "bot" to send spam.
