STMIX, AC-Win SL & Openscape 4000 V8

Hey guys,

I've got a problem regarding the STMIX and AC-Win SL with Openscape 4000 V8, actually i used to do the same thing with the AC-Win V2 and Openscape 4000 V7 and everything worked well, but in this case it didnt work, is there new configuration ?!!!

Your STMIX is probably on out of the box software and needs to be updated or AC-Win SL misbehaves. There are two parts to the upgrade, the OS and the loadware. From Assistant, Expert Access, Gateway Manager you can update both to the same level as the OS4K. Latest hotfixes should be applied to the Platform and the Assistant before you start.

i did the update for the STMIX for both the loadware and the OS, and everything worked well, thank you very much for your help !!

Loadware, Patch Packets, Assistant Update, System Loadware etc. - they should be all brought up to the latest releases before the system goes live.

STMIX does not take its loadware from hard disc on boot up like all the other peripheral cards do, instead it must be manually pushed. It's not a problem everyone will notice if the circuits go ready.

Yes, the loadware page on the Assistant will need to be opened and loadware sent to the relevant cards, however the loadware has to be put on the harddrive first to make it available to the cards.
