After deleting all macros on an excel spreadsheet, I am still asked whether I want to disable macros upon opening the sheet. I still want this feature turned on as I want to be aware of any macros attached to a spreadsheet that I may receive from someone else. Somehow the sheet thinks there are still macros attached even though there are none listed in all open workbooks.

Make sure there are no hidden modules.

Make sure there are no hidden sheets.

Otherwise, use shift and click all applicable sheet tabs. Right-click one of the sheet tabs and select move or copy. Then select to copy to new workbook and checkmark "make a copy." Save the new file over top of the old.
