Hello all,
Decided to start a new thread for the same issue...
Had my Sonicwall tech come out yesterday to help enable RWW, all I really need is 1 user (me) to access SBS2003 server's desktop. He said "you can do that with your Sonicwall Global VPN, see?" and proceeded to remotely logon to his office, then connect to my server via his remote GVPN client, a Windows logon appeared, I typed my Administrator password, and there was my server's desktop.
My problem is, I was so dumbfounded by what he did, and he was in such a hurry (free visit), that I did not ask "How did you do that?" that is, get the Windows logon box to appear. I connect to my GVPN from home, run \\192.168.0.101\share (IP of SBS external NIC) like I always do and get the directory, proceed to smack my forehead for not documenting the procedure to get the Windows remote login box to appear.
Any ideas how to find that login box once the VPN is connected?
Tony
