Thanks debkakes. I am still having no luck getting the text to place. Word and Word Perfect or even text files... nothing works. Very frustrating, and I have a deadline. (heavy on the dead) I tried reloading the pagemaker program to make sure the filters were working, but text still doesn't place. How do I get the filters from the Adobe site. I've never had to get help before. And could lack of memory be a problem?

Hello,
Go to Adobe.com and click on support. Then click on download files. Then choose Pagemaker on either mac or PC. You will find the filters and plugins there. Look for the ones you need. Read the instructions on how to get each one installed.
Please...tell me what version of Pagemaker, Word, etc. This will be helpful if you still have problems.
