still can't get report parameters to work !!!!! 1

I have a report "Training by Date" that uses the "Query by Date" as record source. In that query the criterial for the date is [Forms]![Enter start date]![start]. "Enter start date" is a form used to get date. When I run the report the parameter box comes up, but doesn't have any of the default field info as set up in the form design for "Enter start date". Instead it has a parameter box with Enter Parameter Value at the top and Forms!Enter start date!start with a input box. What am I doing wrong???

You have to open the form if you want the query to pick up the values from it.
Just putting the references in the query won't make the form opem.

It's fine, you just have to have the form open and have something typed into the Start text box. This is a typical setup. Then you'd have a button on your form which opens the report.
