Sticky mouse in Lotus Notes

I have a few users that are currently experiencing the weirdest thing. It's an intermittent problem. In their inbox, they click on a message and it's as if the mouse grabs the message and is stuck. When you move the mouse, you see the box around the message follow the mouse and you cannot click on anything, the only way I know to fix this is to reboot the machine. Anybody seen this problem before and is there a fix for it?

These machines are IBM Think Centers Windows XP SP2

Does it happen systematically on that message ?

Can another user access that mailbox and if so, does it happen to that other user ?

Are the machines certified virus-free ?

I've got nothing to hide, and I'd very much like to keep that away from prying eyes.

Its actually on all on all databases not just the persons mail box. PC's have regular updates on their anti virus so should be virus free.
