Hello,

We have a server in domain A and the clients in domain B. With one domain installations i have enough experience but not with multi domain installations. Who has encountered a simular situation and what are your experiences?

A document would be very helpfull or a indication where to change which settings. I have MR2 and i know you can extent the computername with the domainname in the configuration manager and the 'server configuration'tab.

Who has some additions?

Martijn

Hi,
All you need to do is create a trust relationship between the two domains. Your clients will then be able to use their network logons under access manager to access your server / severs in the other domain. (This is assuming you are using 2k ADS domains though it should work with NT4 too)

Under Configuration manager I'm not sure what needs to be changed as long as your server is correctly configured as an authentication source - full base distinguished name etc.

Hope this helps,

Alex
