Hello

I am about ot attempt to use the send object but i am confused about the coding precesses involved

I have to send a report through Outlook
None of the information relating to email addresses are stored in the database, is this a problem or can it entered manually?

Thanks in advance

James

DoCmd.SendObject acSendReport,"YourReportName"

You will be prompted for the output format.
The report will be attached to an empty mail message which will open for you to fill in the blanks.
So there is no problem if you don't have the email addresses in the database. However, having a recipients table could help you automate sending your data.

HTH,

Dan

Thanks danvlas it works well

I will add a table later it will help loads

A problem still arises when I open the report the after it has been Emailed the pictures/photos in the report do not appear, is there a simple way around this? The format of the report is RTF and the control on the report is a Image

Thank You
