Steps in migrating a MFXP to new Windows domain

I need to migrate my Citrix MFXP Farm to a new Windows 2000 Domain. I have two real phases.

First, users will be migrated prior to the farm being migrated so they need access in the interim. I thinking SID History will facilitate logon. True or not?
I am also hoping that all I need to do is create a profile for the new id in my profiles store right next to their old ID and they will pick it up on login. True or not?
Second, once all my users are migrated, I'll need to migrate the farm. I'm hoping I can change the domain of the DB server first then my test server, and then my application servers all at once. True or not?

I'm looking for any caveats you have please.
