I'm using Backup Exec 8.5 on a Windows 2000 network. What are all the steps you take when you change the password for the user account that Backup Exec uses? I know of the obvious change password in Active Directory, change passwords in every Service that uses it on the backup server, but is there anything else that needs to be done? Any type of password cache that needs to be flushed or updated?

I use 8.6, we do not use a Active Directory user account anymore. It is sometimes better to just leave the account service to Local System. Just a thought.
P.S If you change the account password there is no PASSWORD CACHE you need to clear. Just change the password, all will be fine.
