Does anyone know of anywhere on the web that I can get a step by step guide to setting up a network printer in SCO openserver 5?

It is pretty straight forward...if you know:
-how the printer is connected to the network
-what protocols it is listening to

The simplest is a printer listening to LPD.

- enable remote printing
- scoadmin printer -> add -> remote ...enter specifics

If it is using HP protocols (not emulations)
then see: pcunix's faq on printing to HP's

If it is a windows shared printer then use samba's smbclient or the smbprint scripts.

Stanhubble,

Thanks. But how do you enable remote printing?

Joe

Sorry, this is for enabling LPD remote printing.

scoadmin printer -> system -> print services -> select
